Our client, a major Oil and Gas Operator have an opportunity for a Utilities Systems Commissioning Engineer to work on a long term contract based offshore Nigeria.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To ensure that pre commissioning and commissioning on the utility systems are prepared and executed in line with OPERCOM.
  • In charge to review before approval the Operational Tests of the Utility systems with special emphasis on the power generation and fire Water systems
  • To make sure the future operation team and maintenance team are familiarized with the installation before the start-up
  •  To cooperate with all other entities in the project team to build the documentation, analyze the technical aspect and highlight any inconsistencies which required corrective actions. Anticipation of any issue which could arise during the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.
  •  To take part to the preparation of the pre-commissioning and commissioning data base and procedures such as OTP,
  •  To identify the consumables necessary (qualities and quantities) for the utilities during the pre-com and commissioning phases as well as for the first start-up,
  •  To make sure a consolidated planning is issued for the pre-commssioning and commissioning activities onshore and offshore,
  •  To participate to the construction of the start-up sequence of the OFP2 utilities and of the global complex after the full integration offshore,
  •  To participate to material reception in factory / on site and follow-up the supplier punch list clearance,
  •  To review with Production team the Operating manuals for utilities systems,
  •  To review the black-start procedure with Electrical specialists,
  •  To develop the knowledge / familiarization of the future operation teams by including them in the commissioning preparation and execution, and make sure they are ready for the start-up,
  •  To ensure the OPERCOM procedures are fulfilled, validate the pre-commissioning dossier and validate the RFC status,
  •  Validate the RFSU dossier,
  •  Follow-up the pre-com and commissioning punch list and propose mitigation measures when necessary.
