Job Details
We have been retained by the Protection and Automation division of the top Electrical Engineering company in South Africa.
 
They have the expertise to successfully design, engineer, manufacture, test, install and commission protection, control, DCS and metering schemes globally.
 
They require a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer who has commissioned, tested and worked on the protection equipment in the Primary yard of a substation. It is essential that the candidates who apply have worked with various relays, can test a transformer and a VT, and can tell us in detail what type of commissioning they have done themselves. 
 
This position is very specific in that they need a person who is more than competent to handle this type of testing and commissioning work independently.
 
This person will need to travel in West Africa to the various sites and projects in the region to conduct the commissioning requirements. This is an excellent opportunity with a world class company that is regarded highly for its top end equipment and engineering capabilities.
