The Company Due to the growth of one of their subsea division, our multinational superpower client is currently looking for an Engineering Manager to be based at their engineering and projects offices in Norway, with the responsbility and focus on engineering for major subsea international projects. The Role Responsibilities and tasks Key member of the Project Engineering Management Team and jointly accountable for achieving the project objectives (budget, scope, time schedule and quality). Manage all engineering activities and resources across work packages for both system and product engineering from the system definition phase, through detailing and fabrication and handover Overall responsible for review and implementation of all technical requirements given by Contract Interaction with client on commercial and technical issues Maintain and improve longstanding reputation as a preferred subsea system supplier Qualifications & personal attributes Degree or MSc. in Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience from subsea or oil and gas related industries Experienced in project or technical management Good communication and leadership skills Proven results in managing and improving work processes Good skills in MS Office and ERP systems, preferably SAP Good knowledge of the English language Systematic and analytical High level of integrity, ethical values, and cross-cultural understanding Ability to work both operationally and strategically Flexibility on travelling required according to the project’s needs The Rewards In return for these skills, our client provides an excellent package of benefits in addition to your salary.
